Translation is far from a simple task regardless of whether the words being translated are that of a casual conversation, a movie script, a book or a business presentation. However, one thing that is often overlooked by companies is the complexity in directly translating business content from one language to the next. First, the witty material that takes professionals long periods of times to write and develop often does not translate directly to the new language, causing it to lose effectiveness and need creative reworking. Also, business is highly situational and can require certain levels of formality to be strictly adhered to. However, it is easy for language to be translated out of context and convey the wrong message. Furthermore, not all business people are necessarily stellar writers and if the original text being translated is not rich in content and of high quality, the end product delivered by the translator will likely lack in these areas as well.
